Biome Finder
Java 1.20 – 26.2How to use
How to use the Biome Finder
- Paste your world seed and press Find.
- Pick your Minecraft version.
- Tick the biomes you are hunting for — the map keeps those in full colour and dims the rest.
- Drag to pan and scroll to zoom; the coordinate readout follows your cursor.
🔒 Everything runs in your browser. No account, no download, nothing uploaded — your seed stays on your device.
About the biome map
The biome map for any seed, drawn from the game's own generation. Highlight the biomes you care about — a mushroom island, a cherry grove, a deep dark — and everything else dims away.
Frequently asked questions
How does the biome finder work?
It runs Minecraft's world generation (cubiomes, compiled to WebAssembly) directly in your browser — no server, no world download, and your seed never leaves your device.
Which Minecraft versions are supported?
Java 1.20 through 26.2 and Bedrock 1.21 and newer — pick yours in the Version dropdown. Generation changes between some versions, so choosing the right one matters. The biome map itself is Java only.
Is this affiliated with Chunkbase?
No. seedscan is an independent set of seed tools with its own engine and interface.
