About slime chunks

Slimes spawn only in certain chunks below Y=40. Paste a seed to light up the slime-chunk grid and pick the spot for a slime farm.

Frequently asked questions

How does the slime chunk finder work?

It runs Minecraft's world generation (cubiomes, compiled to WebAssembly) directly in your browser — no server, no world download, and your seed never leaves your device.

Which Minecraft versions are supported?

Java 1.20 through 26.2 and Bedrock 1.21 and newer — pick yours in the Version dropdown. Generation changes between some versions, so choosing the right one matters.

Is this affiliated with Chunkbase?

No. seedscan is an independent set of seed tools with its own engine and interface.
