Java 1.20 – 26.2 · Bedrock 1.21+How to use
How to use the Seed Map
- Type or paste your world seed in the card above the map (or hit the dice for a random one) and pick the edition, version and dimension there.
- Under the map on the left, Layers shows or hides structure markers, the chunk grid, slime chunks, stronghold rings, terrain shading and biome highlights.
- Under the map on the right, the Seed Finder searches random seeds for your criteria; Find Nearest, Cluster Finder and Seed Analyzer sit below it.
- Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, click a marker for its coordinates. Share, save and load from the card; Goto jumps to coordinates.
🔒 Everything runs in your browser. No account, no download, nothing uploaded — your seed stays on your device.
About the seed map
The seed map draws a whole world from its seed: every biome, every structure the game would generate, the spawn point, slime chunks and the stronghold rings. Toggle the features you care about and read coordinates straight off the map.
Frequently asked questions
How does the seed map work?
It runs Minecraft's world generation (cubiomes, compiled to WebAssembly) directly in your browser — no server, no world download, and your seed never leaves your device.
Which Minecraft versions are supported?
Java 1.20 through 26.2 and Bedrock 1.21 and newer — pick yours in the Version dropdown. Generation changes between some versions, so choosing the right one matters.
Is this affiliated with Chunkbase?
No. seedscan is an independent set of seed tools with its own engine and interface.
